The Wellness Within Retreat is designed for women navigating meaningful life transitions or sensing that it’s time for a deeper reset. This experience is designed for women seeking restoration, clarity, and a deeper connection to themselves. If you’re feeling called toward meaningful reset, time in nature, and supportive guided reflection, you are warmly welcome.
The incredible beauty, healing landscapes and amazing local people of Sao Miguel speak for themselves (we think) but more importantly, going somewhere NEW creates a symbolic "crossing over" of a threshold that signals, this is different. This is intentional. This matters. Stepping away gives us the ability to fully unplug, without interruption. It sends a powerful message to the nervous system: My healing is important. I am worth the time and space. Sao Miguel offers the perfect combination.
Not at all. This experience is centered on balance, reflection, and renewal. Activities are gentle and optional, and you are always encouraged to honor your own pace, comfort, and needs throughout the retreat.
Your investment includes accommodations, daily guided programming by a qualified factilitator, occupational therapy services designed to enhance the experience, breakfast and dinner daily, and a thoughtfully curated experience designed to support women’s health and renewal. Full details can be found in the “What’s Included” section.
Guests are responsible for airfare, transportation to and from the retreat location, lunches (to allow for flexibility and time spent outdoors), alcohol, gratuities and any optional excursions (plus transportation to access them). Local recommendations and support are provided.
We intentionally leave space in the schedule for time in nature, local exploration, and spontaneous moments of adventure. This allows the days to feel open and unhurried, without the responsibility of fixed meal schedules.
Yes. Optional excursions and local experiences are available, and we are happy to offer thoughtful recommendations and guidance. These activities are not included in the retreat cost, allowing each participant to choose what feels most aligned.
We intentionally keep this retreat experience small to preserve intimacy, connection, and emotional safety. A smaller group allows for deeper reflection, personalized support, and a calm, restorative environment where each woman can feel truly held.
All participants complete a brief questionnaire prior to registration. This helps clarify your intentions, ensure the retreat is a supportive fit, and allows us to create the most grounded and aligned experience possible. After submission, you will receive your welcome packet with next steps.
This experience offers group-based guided discussions and wellness education facilitated by a qualified professional, but it is not therapy or a substitute for individualized assessment or ongoing care. If you are currently working with a therapist, we recommend discussing participation with them to ensure this retreat is the right fit. Occupational therapy services are offered before and after the retreat for those who opt into this, to enhance the retreat outcomes.
Receipts for eligible Occupational Therapy services may be provided upon request for participants who consent to services and who wish to submit to extended health benefits.
Yes. All participants are required to carry personal health insurance for travel, as well as any additional coverage they feel is appropriate.
You are always invited, never pressured. Facilitated discussions are offered at the beginning or end of each day, and participants are encouraged to engage in ways that feel safe, comfortable, and supportive for them.
Once you complete the Self-Reflection Questionnaire and receive your welcome email, you’ll be guided through the simple registration process. Because space is limited, early registration is encouraged.
Absolutely! There are several great car rental companies you can use. You can also hire a driver for the day or for a trip, if you'd prefer not to drive. Car rentals are arranged between the participant and the local car rental company.
